Mr.
Wurzbach has over 17 years of experience in the development
of Predictive Maintenance programs and the applications
of diagnostic technologies for industrial equipment.
His
expertise lies in the applications of Infrared Thermography
and Oil Analysis, and the integration of various diagnostic
technologies for equipment assessment.
His past experience includes work at the Three Mile
Island, Limerick, and Peach Bottom Nuclear Plants. He
also has worked in the food processing and industrial
manufacturing industries in the applications of Predictive
Maintenance and Maintenance Optimization.
He
has served as the Chairman of the International Thermosense
Committee, and is one of 40 individuals worldwide with
ASNT Level III certification in Infrared and Thermal
Testing. He led the development of the Infrared Thermography
program from its inception at Peach Bottom in 1989.
He is a Certified Lubrication Specialist (CLS) and Oil
Monitoring Analyst (OMA-I) both from STLE, and certified
by ICML as a Laboratory Lubricant Analyst (LLA-I).
He
was responsible for the design and development of the
Peach Bottom Oil Analysis Laboratory, and designed numerous
innovative products to improve the practice of oil sampling
and analysis. He went on to design and assemble the
laboratory and procedures for MRG Power Labs in York,
PA. He also invented and developed SmartSkid, a sensor-integrated
filtration skid for condition based filtration and real-time
monitoring of reservoir condition.
He
achieved certification as a Vibration Institute Level
I Analyst, and has served as session chair for the Predict
Technologies Oil Analysis Conference.
He is the founder of Maintenance Reliability Group,
LLC. He is currently on the NAVSEA Condition Based Maintenance
Team at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda,
Maryland, and frequently serves as an instructor in
IR Thermography, Oil Analysis and other maintenance
technologies and strategies. He holds a Bachelor's Degree
in Chemistry from Millersville (PA) University, 1988.
