Mr.
Burch has 19 years experience in the areas of vibration
analysis related to Predictive and Preventive Maintenance.
He
has special expertise in training vibration analysis,
two channel analysis techniques, motor current signature
analysis, oil analysis, acoustics, high frequency analysis,
check valve diagnostics, and motor operated valve diagnostics.
Past
experience includes: 11 years of employment with the
Naval Air Development Center where his principle job
was research and development in Vibration Analysis and
Acoustics, 3 years employment with Liberty Technology
Center where he managed the Technical Service group
responsible for Vibration testing and analysis.
In
1991, Mr. Burch founded Controlled Vibrations Inc.,
a technical consulting firm that specializes in Predictive
and Preventive Maintenance training and service.
Mr.
Burch has been a member of the National Vibration Institute
for 13 years and held the positions of Treasurer, Vice-Chairman,
and Chairman of the local Delaware Valley Chapter of
the Vibration Institute.
Education:
BS in Mechanical Engineering from The University of
Tennessee, 1981.
